What is a homepage to me? I've been thinking about its definition.

What is a homepage?
Looking it up in the dictionary, it says this.

The page intended to be the first one viewed on a company or individual's website.

Things you should probably have if you're running a shop or business.

Many people probably have that image, but in my opinion, while some people need a website, others who run businesses or shopsSome people don't need a homepage.I think.

"What does a homepage mean to me?"
Since I've been given the opportunity to think about it, I'll put my thoughts out here.

For me, a website is a tool for improving efficiency.

For me, a website is neither a tool for attracting customers nor a means for gathering leads.

To attract customers, you need to share information and meet people. To build a list, you need a strategy and tools for gathering contacts.

So why do you need a website?
For me, it's part of my regular sales activities."Things that improve efficiency"is.

  • Find out what other services and products are available
  • You can see what kind of people they are and what kind of feelings they hold as they carry out their activities.
  • You can see if they're sharing other information as well.

By giving branding a tangible form and placing it where it can be seen, efficiency improves. That's what I feel a website is.

That's why I won't make a website like this.

Having a website is necessary to improve efficiency.

The website must serve as a platform to bring solutions closer to addressing the challenges and issues of the business.

So,Just existing. Just made.We do not create websites.

  • I feel limited in what I can express on social media.
  • Repeated inquiries about the same matter are affecting our operations.
  • We want to move beyond portal site customer acquisition, which tends to become a price war.
  • I'm doing things differently from my peers, so I want to make that clear.
  • I work across various genres, but my core focus remains the same, so I'd like to share that here.

For example, like this:What is the challenge?
Does having a website solve that?

Listen carefully to that point and create a website that solves problems and boosts efficiency!

I make sure not to create a website that's just there and serves no purpose.

For those without specific issues, or those with issues that cannot be resolved through the website, we offer alternative solutions.

Common Mistakes in Creating Useless Websites

  • Creating without thorough listening
  • Creating it without explaining the marketing funnel to the person themselves
  • Just make it because "it's good enough for now"

A website that's just for showCreating one is easy. When dealing with people who aren't web-savvy, I think it's a category where contracts are easy to secure. But if results don't follow afterward, if they don't think "Having a website was a good thing," then it's a useless website. To prevent that from happening, I constantly study, practice, and incorporate feedback.

To create an efficient website

I believe these are the elements a website needs to solve problems and improve business efficiency.

  • appears in search results
Whether information appears or not when searching for the representative's name, business name, or store name makes a big difference in credibility. When making introductions or when the business owner promotes themselves, appearing in search results makes it easy!
  • The necessary information is clearly presented.
It's important not only to include the information you want to convey, but also to place information that viewers are likely to want to know in an easily accessible location.
  • Easy to make corrections or updates
Updating the website immediately whenever content changes simplifies announcements & having to contact the creator every time there's a revision is inefficient.
  • I can write a blog
Writing on the same domain makes management easier & improves SEO.
  • The number of pages can be increased.
When you need to add pages or create landing pages, you won't have to sign up for another tool.
  • Operating and management fees do not fluctuate significantly.
It's a hassle to have to consider the monthly fee every time you add a tool.
  • Operation using a custom domain
→Can be operated without depending on other tools
  • Low operating costs
→Since it's a fixed cost, cheaper is better.
  • Publish the purpose of the business, such as its mission and vision.
By repeatedly reviewing and reaffirming their role—"This is what I'm meant to do!" and "This is the purpose of my work!"—business owners gain clarity in their messaging and decision-making.
When teams or employees are involved, if everyone shares information independently, it can become like a game of telephone where misinterpretations and errors often occur. By clearly stating the unchanging core principles, you can prevent misunderstandings and conflicts.

So when I create something, I start by listening to your needs, but fundamentally, I make it so that all of your requests are fulfilled.
